Meet Sophie. A tame, pregnant cat dumped in the streets and left to fend for herself. A kindhearted 9th Life supporter began feeding her but was unable to keep her because of her work schedule. She called 9th Life and we took Sophie in. Less than two weeks later she had six (yes 6) black kittens. In those two weeks 9th Life also had taken in a three day old tuxedo kitten whose mother and sibling had been killed by a dog. As sad as that was for the 3 day old infant, he is safe now. Because he was the only survivor he was solo, hence we easily named him Hans Solo. We bottle-fed him for a few days and then Sophie presented us with her six babies, to which we added Hans Solo. If cats could talk, Sophie would have said: “I just had 6 (count them) babies and you’re giving me another ONE??????

Although, you may not be able to see all six of the black kittens (4 girls and 2 boys) in this film, you sure can see Hans trying to reach the dinner table and how Sweet Sophie tried to accommodate him by turning flat on her back. Our kind-hearted supporter will make a home for Sophie as she is the original purr machine and the kittens will be available between 7-8 weeks of age. These babies are being handled a lot by humans and will be very people-oriented. Adoption reservations for these kittens are being taken now and remember: Black goes with Everything.
